Strawberry Days
Welcome Anilyssa
So I am really slow in updating our family blog, but Anilyssa is here! She is now approaching 6 weeks, and it is so fun to have pink in the house now. The boys just adore her, and love snuggling all the time. She is alert, happy, and growing up way to fast!!

NO MORE BINKI'S - They are in Heaven
A week ago Grandpa came up with a great plan of getting rid of two binki's. Matt jumped right on board, and they started conspiring how this plan would work. Laughing and joking about it, they finally concluded that we would use an idea from Uncle Ben and that Grandpa would buy two giant balloons, and we would send the binki's to Heaven.
That was a Thursday, and so we decided to have the ceremony next time we went to Grandpa's house. However, we felt it was necessary to give the boys a little heads up, and so we took away the binki's and got them excited to send them to Heaven so that babies up there could have them.
The pictures explain it all, however, we did not foresee the sadness of the littlest in having to let his big yellow balloon go (he no longer cared about the binki).
Brenden anxious for the big release, while Nathan sneaks in his last suck.
Nathan being obedient but having no idea what was coming
The count down.....
Nathan holding on to his yellow balloon for dear life.
As we drove home we were reminded how close Heaven can be to earth. There on the side of the freeway about a mile away hung a big yellow balloon with a red binki. It had gotten stuck in a tree just near the overpass. Matt and I laughed as we drove by, but luckily the boys were still looking towards Heaven for their binki's.
