Brenden loves catching and throwing the ball with Dad! He is able to distinguish the difference between a basketball, football, and soccer ball.

Whenever you ask Brenden a question he always responds by raising his hand and saying, "ME."

Oh the "joys" of mobility

Everything becomes a game

He hasn't quite grasped the meaning, but he is really good at saying no.

His favorite games are thinking that he is to heavy to lift, and playing steam-roller with Dad. (Mom's tummy kind of gets in the way now)

This is one of his favorites. He usually isn't this excited with the Hooray portion, but he knew he was on camera.

Valentine's Day Licking

This was his favorite thing about Valentine's Day!

He is a duplicate of Matt in more ways then one!! :)

Brenden decided to walk after we returned home from visiting during the holidays. Now he is running, and trying to walk up and down the stairs without using his hands for support. He is growing up so fast!! This is him just starting off.

Valentine's Day and President's Day

We had a wonderful week this week with Valentine's Day, President's Day, and our first official appointment for our new little one.

Brenden is his Father's son, and thoroughly enjoyed licking the cake bowl for our Valentine's dessert (there were only egg whites :) ). He continues to grow with each passing day as he learns new words, discovers new things, reads new books, and learns more songs. His favorite song right now is "If your Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hands" (especially the hooray portion of the song).

Matt and I enjoyed celebrating our 2nd Valentine's Day together, and our love for each other continues to grow everyday.

We then celebrated President's Day by going and visiting President George Washington's home on Mt. Vernon. It was absolutely beautiful, and the scenery was incredible. We gain more and more respect for our President's and our founding father's as we learn more about the men the were.
